put Conversation science to work.

TALK Studios helps organizations use the science of conversation to improve the human interactions that define their people, products, services, and experiences.

Start a Conversation

WHERE COULD CONVERSATION WORK BETTER?

Sometimes the opportunity is to improve a conversation that already happens. Other times, it is to rethink how conversation is designed into a product, service, program, workplace, environment, or customer experience. Where does conversation meaningfully shape experience, and what could change if we approached those moments more intentionally?

“We’re not starting from scratch – we’ve worked with over 100 schools and 17,000 kids… and we’re just getting started.”

MEET OUR K-12 PARTNER: TALK x R.E.A.L.® Discussion

conversation science in the classroom.

Founded by educator and school leader Liza Garonzik, R.E.A.L.® Discussion teaches, measures, and celebrates the uniquely human skill of live conversation in a distracted, divided, and digital world. Through curriculum, professional learning, and assessment, its work has reached more than 100 schools and over 17,000 students.

Meaningful human interaction is central to how students learn, build relationships, and participate in the world. This partnership brings Alison Wood Brooks’s conversation research and teaching at Harvard Business School together with R.E.A.L.’s expertise in turning research into classroom practice, helping schools make conversation a skill students deliberately learn, practice, and strengthen.

As TALK Studios’ K–12 partner and the home for our work with schools, R.E.A.L. welcomes schools to explore its established programs alongside selected TALK Studios resources. Together, we’re also beginning to build custom programs and materials for 2027–28, with schools’ questions and experiences helping shape what comes next.
